Winter
It's hold on us is strong
Its cold and dark and lonely and just a little bit too long
Springtime
Never close enough to grasp
We spend our winters wishing it was warming than the last
Buried in at home
Until the sun returns to kill
The last bit of snow
Melt away so I can feel
As the rain comes through
The flowers bloom
And on the inside we change just as the seasons do
The seasons change but so do we
The winter's cold burying our old anxiety
The seasons change but so do we
The springtime blooms to a summer dream
As we awake from hibernation
We notice little things with a greater appreciation
But lest I forget
That without the winters wrath
I would stay the same and for that I'm grateful for the pain
Springtime... How do I know when I'm fine?
Springtime... Melt the ice and warm my mind

Summer

I know what I wanna be
A little something of everything
I jump into the open sea
Warmer than I thought it'd be
Bloomed into a dream
So now I'm swimming around
Knowing full well I won't drown
And then spotted the shore
I chose to ignore
Head first into the open sea
Warmer than I thought it'd be
I know what I wanna do
I wanna get away with you
You open up your arms for me
My real-life summer dream
And the Summers come
And the Summers go
And my feeling stays
But the Fall won't know

Fall

Can you see, how the colors change?
The leaves do it every year so why can’t we?
As the air chills, it’s enough to kill
But I’d rather see my breath than nothing still
Remember how it used to be
Cold, dark, and lonely
Remember how it used to feel
As time time stood
Remember when it turned to Spring
You became everything you dreamed
But just because the Summer's done
Doesn't mean it's gone
The autumn breeze blowing through the trees
The falling leaves landing in front of me
When I was young I had the energy
But now it's gone
My way to change it all
We'll bloom in Fall
And I know that I'll be okay
But I keep wondering anyway
I stay awake all night and day
And I know that I'll be just fine
But I keep wondering all the time
The shit that goes on in my mind

The seasons change right before my eyes
The heavy snow slowing down my drive
How in the hell do I find the time
To lead myself out of endless pine?
It's winter time
There's not much light to thrive
I think that I
should go outside and try
It's winter time
The bitter cold blows through
But I know that I
Still have the will to bloom
The seasons change...
The weather is not our fate
It changes a lot
It feels late but I know it's not
Just another way to play with our hearts
Counting down the days until the solstice ended
Horrified how I used to take everything for granted
I'll find the time to do all of the things I planned
And I won't let it bury me again
The seasons change but so do we
The winters cold no longer has a hold on me
The seasons change but so do we
My whole life bloomed to a summer dream
